Hey! Im Donna,
So much of what I am drawn to comes from my roots as a European who’s family came from abroad years ago. Romance, Elegance, Architecture, clean lines and anything aesthetically appealing that sparks a visual interest is what I implement into a lot of my photography. I have always had a visual eye for anything “pretty,” Everything I set my hands to I think of a way I can achieve it in an elegant, minimal and editorial fashion.
I’m a wifey to the most amazing man on planet earth, married for 11 years, its the best decision I have ever made to date, our growing love is exactly why I am in the wedding industry, I know the ins and outs of what its like to love and be loved. I’m also a mommy to 4 kind hearted children, my two eldest and recent addition, twinsies complete our family… for now =D they are my absolute WORLD! Being a mommy to them is the next best thing that’s ever happened to me and there’s nothing that tops that.
By now its no secret I have a huge passion for photography and there may be a reason why this is so, I come from a family of artists, specifically pencil savvy people who can draw portraits beyond belief. As a kid, I was the outcast that never got past drawing “stick” people, hearts & smiley faces but Photography ran deeper into my family history and is another form of art that lingeres in my family roots. When I finally realized the art I was gifted with lies in a camera and not a pencil, it has been my canvas for 6+ years now.
I’m a firm believer that photographs get us as close to pausing time as we can get… “We take photos as a return ticket to moments otherwise gone”
